Hanging will prevent shoulder mobility issues if done mindfully, with shoulders down (not up by the ears), ribs down rather than sticking out, shoulders externally rotated, shoulder blades stabilised, and the right amount of strength provided by the lower and upper body. Sometimes more strength will be provided by the legs, and sometimes more by the arms, depending on how the body feels. The idea is to respect the body's boundaries and not overdo it. It's a perfect exercise in mindfulness.
It's also good to get someone to take photos (preferrably children up in the tree above!) so you can check your alignment and make any necessary adjustments. They may eventually help you make corrections. Health is a family affair! Involve everyone.
